I’m Matt. I’m a mechanical engineer by training, and a product development consultant through experience. At heart I’m a product person. I’m fascinated by the interactions between users and products and the often complex relationships which connect the two.

As someone who has designed many products which are in mass manufacture, I’m also acutely aware of the potentially negative impacts products can have on our environment.  

People Planet Product is built on the belief that People and the Planet come before the Product. Without a real understanding of the people we are trying to help, and the environment within which they operate, a product based solution is always going to fall short.

At People Planet Product, we strive to develop the human and environmental consideration of products at the start of their development. Not as an afterthought. We want to help our clients avoid the risk of confronting these inevitable product factors too late in the process, where the ability to create meaningful impact diminishes.
